AUTOMOTIVE PARTS DRIVER
Nielsen Ford of Morristown is seeking a dependable Parts Driver to support our parts department with accurate, timely deliveries and pickups. In this role, you’ll transport parts and equipment, maintain delivery records, and work closely with the parts team to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: On-site with delivery travel
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
Compensation: $17 - $18 per hour, paid weekly
Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Safely deliver and pick up parts and equipment at customer locations, other dealerships, and vendors.
- Coordinate delivery routes, pickups, and priorities with the Parts Manager and parts counter team before leaving the dealership.
- Verify parts and quantities against invoices or delivery documents to help ensure accurate orders.
- Load, secure, and unload parts and equipment carefully to prevent damage during transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup logs, obtain recipient signatures, and return completed paperwork to the parts department.
- Communicate delivery delays, order discrepancies, damaged items, or other concerns promptly to the parts team.
- Unload the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift and return undelivered parts and paperwork to the appropriate team member.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and promptly report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Follow traffic laws and dealership driving and delivery procedures.
- Assist with organizing parts and maintaining a clean, orderly, and professional parts department.
- Assist with other related dealership duties as assigned.
- A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets dealership and insurance requirements.
- A dependable, punctual team member with a commitment to safe driving.
- Ability to read and follow instructions, delivery documents, and route information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail when checking parts, quantities, and delivery records.
- Friendly, professional communication skills when working with customers, vendors, and dealership team members.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliveries and changing priorities.
- Basic computer and math skills, including the ability to use a calculator.
- Willingness to learn the parts department’s computer inventory system; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the role, including driving, entering and exiting the delivery vehicle, and loading, carrying, and unloading parts, with or without reasonable accommodation.
