AUTOMOTIVE LOT ATTENDANT/SERVICE PORTER

Nielsen Nissan of Stanhope seeking a dependable Lot Attendant/Service Porter to help keep our vehicles organized, presentable, and ready for customers. In this hands-on role, you’ll move vehicles safely, maintain the appearance of our lot, and support daily sales and service operations.

Location: Stanhope, New Jersey
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: On-site
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with one day off during the week
Compensation: $16–$18 per hour, paid weekly

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership, including the sales lot, service lane, and designated service areas.
• Keep new and used vehicles organized according to dealership display standards and management direction.
• Maintain accurate vehicle locations and help team members locate vehicles promptly.
• Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors to keep inventory and customer vehicles presentable.
• Place buyer’s guides, stock tags, and other designated materials in vehicles.
• Create and organize vehicle key tags and follow dealership key-control procedures.
• Assist with basic vehicle-readiness tasks, such as checking and replenishing fluids, as trained and directed.
• Assist service advisors with welcoming customers and coordinating vehicle drop-off in the service drive.
• Retrieve and stage customer vehicles for pickup.
• Shuttle service customers when needed, following dealership driving and safety procedures.
• Support service advisors with daily tasks to help provide a smooth, positive customer experience.
• Keep the lot, shop, service drive lane, driveways, and sidewalks clean, orderly, and free of debris to support a safe work environment.
• Promptly report vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Assist with other related dealership duties as assigned.

• Ability to work cooperatively with sales, service, and other dealership team members.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of an active role involving outdoor work, frequent walking and standing, and entering and exiting vehicles, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable law.
